Agrifood & Franchising Trends Research Group-ESPM received professor Filipe Sampaio – from IPAM

On March 21, the Agrifood & Franchising Trends Research Group received professor Filipe Sampaio – from our international partner IPAM (Portuguese Institute of Administration and Marketing).

Prof. Filipe Sampaio focused on the context of the contemporary food market in Europe addressing the issue of market transparency, circular economy, sustainable production and ethics, commitment to public health, among others.

About the Speaker: Filipe Sampaio Rodrigues holds a degree in Management from FEP at Universida do Porto, PhD from Lancaster University Management School, UK and has extensive professional experience in the area of management and business development; is financial controller and consultant for companies in Europe and South America and Director of the Casal da Lode brand “one of the world’s best extra virgin olive oils” (NY International Olive Oil Competition, 2013 and MIGLIORI OLI MONOCULTVAR MONDO, 2012).

About the Research Grupo(GP)_Agrifood and franchising trends Research center: is a group of researchers, experts, professionals and students for analysis and discussion of border issues and trends in the areas of food, franchising, retail, foodservice and agribusiness.
